Waugh Looking For A Few Good "Merry Men"

"Act Of Valor" co-director Scott Waugh is attached to direct "Merry Men," a revamp of the legemd of Robin Hood says Deadline.

The film is described as a tentpole re-imagining of the Robin Hood legend with a "high-concept revenge angle".

It's also more an ensemble 'mission' movie --"Ocean's Eleven," "The Dirty Dozen" type stuff centered around supporting characters like Little John, Friar Tuck, Maid Marian and Will Scarlet

Brad Ingelsby will write the script based on a pitch that just sold to Bandito Films. Waugh and Neal Moritz will produce.
