De Niro Meets Up With "Silver Linings" Team For Role

The Boston Globe reports that Robert De Niro will reunite with his "Silver Linings Playbook" director David O. Russell for the Untitled drama formerly called "American Bullsh*t",

 

In the film, Christian Bale will play a financial con man forced to work with an ambitious FBI agent (Bradley Cooper) to take down other crims, gangsters and politicians.

Amy Adams will play Bale's mistress, and Jeremy Renner will play the leader of the New Jersey state assembly. Louis CK will play an FBI agent. Jennifer Lawrence will play Bale's wife. Alessandro Nivola will play Reggio, the federal prosecutor who tried the case in court. Elisabeth Rohm will play the wife of Renner's character. Dawn Olivieri will play Cooper's girlfriend while Thomas Matthews plays Renner's son. Jack Huston and Michael Peña also star.
