Sony Pictures has confirmed at CinemaCon that "21 Jump Street 2" is in development with plans for a 2014 release.
Jonah Hill and co-star Channing Tatum are expected to return both in front of the camera and as executive producers-- Michael Bacall who co-wrote the first film with Hill is back at it
Sony was making moves for a sequel a few weeks before the first pic opened last year
It was previously reported that Sony plans to begin filming in September.
