What About The "District 9" Sequel?

Out and about for next month's Elysium "District 9" director Neill Blomkamp confirmed to Indiewire that he and co-writer Terri Tatchell have written an eighteen-page treatment for the sequel "District 10".

He says that he has a "really f---ing cool" idea for the story. We have to be a bit patience though. Blomkamp is focused right now on the sci-fi drama "Chappie" starring Sharlto Copley and Dev Patel. That film centers on a sentient android robot and will shoot in Johannesburg this Fall.
