Bridget Moynahan has joined the cast of the thriller "John Wick" says THR.
Derek Kolstad wrote the script in which Keanu Reeves stars as a hitman named John Wick who retired from the business after his wife died. When a thief steals his car, killing his late wife's dog in the process, Wick goes after him. One problem, the thief's father is a New York crime boss who puts a contract out on Wick.
Willem Dafoe plays Marcus, a fellow hit man and close friend of Wick who was the on that convinced Wick to give up the assassin business. Marcus is the one who gets the contract to take out Wick.
Moynahan plays Reeves' wife
Alfie Allen, Michael Nyqvist, Adrianne Palicki and Dean Winters also star
David Leitch and Chad Stahelski are directing the film.
Basil Iwanyk will produce the pic.
Production has begun in the New York area.
