First Look: David Ayer's "Fury"

Sony Pictures has used this year's E3 to unveil the first footage from the World War II tank action drama "Fury".

Set in the closing days of the fighting in Europe, the story follows the five-man crew of an American tank named the Lucy Sue that runs across a desperate German division.

Brad Pitt Michael Pena and Shia Labeouf also star. Logan Lerman is playing Norman Ellison, an Army typist who is the youngest of the crew, who is forced to become their new tail gunner. Scott Eastwood plays Sergeant Miles. Brad William Henke ("Jobs," "The Frozen Ground") plays Sergeant Davis. Jason Isaacs will play the confident captain and veteran on the team that mentors Pitt's character.

David Ayer called action using his own script and says that he wants to "make a war movie for modern audiences that explored battlefield heroics in an honest way".

Bill Block, John Lesher and Ethan Smith are producing the film.

The film is due to come to theaters on November 14th, 2014.

The clip and B-roll footage aired as a part of a panel for a new "World of Tanks" game.
