Alice Eve Locks Up "Criminal" Role

THR reports that“Star Trek Into Darkness” co-star Alice Eve has joined the cast of the sci-fi actioner "Criminal".


Kevin Costner plays a ruthless killer who rather than spend the rest of his life in jail, chooses to be the subject of a medical experiment in which the brain of a recently murdered field operative is implanted in his head.

Eve's role is unknown at this point.

Gary Oldman would play a Central Intelligence Agency chief. Tommy Lee Jones will play a doctor Frank. Ryan Reynolds also stars.

Douglas Cook and David Weisberg ("The Rock," "Double Jeopardy") are writing the script for director Ariel Vromen.

Chris Bender, J.C. Spink, Kevin King, Christa Campbell, Lati Grobman and Jason Bloom are producing.

Avi Lerner, John Thompson, Trevor Short, Boaz Davidson, Lati Grobman, Christa Campbell, Christine Crow and Jason Bloom are executive producing.
