"Dork" centers on teenage student misfit Tom Henderson, a student who is tormented by all sorts of cliques and seeks refuge in music.
He also attempts to uncover the truth about his late father, who died with odd circumstances while combing through some books.
The book itself also deals with sex, drugs, and portrayed Tom as highly self-aware.
