Days after he formally withdrew from the film, Denzel Washington is now back on board the Tony Scott's runaway train action/drama "Unstoppable." reports Variety.
Washington is once again set play a veteran engineer who jumps into a locomotive with a young conductor (Chris Pine) to stop an unmanned runaway train loaded with toxic cargo.
The Mark Bomback written film stalled when the studio insisted the budget be cut back to $90 million, with Washington to cut $4 million from his salary. Washington was looking elsewhere but his and studio bean counters have reportedly found a way to compromise on the deal.
I'm glad the powers that be found a way to make Denzel happy--
Pre-production on the film has resumed in Pittsburgh for filming to get underway in the Fall.
