Who’s playing Captain H.M.'Howling Mad' Murdock in the big screen version of the 80's TV series The A-Team?South African filmmaker turned District 9 star Sharlto Copley has apparently been offered the role reports Blackfilm.
The role made famous by Dwight Schultz in the show, Murdocck was a highly skilled helicopter pilot who was officially declared mentally unstable and spent much of the series residing in a psychiatric hospital (though its hinted his insanity is a ploy).
Copley would join the already confirmed Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper...

Copley is the latest actor rumored for Murdock. Jim Carrey, Steve Buscemi, Timothy Olyphant, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, and Chris Pine were there before...Copley would certaily be an offbeat choice to play an offbeat character.
Joe Carnahan (Narc, Smokin' Aces) directs the pic slated for a June 11, 2010 theatrical release.
Shooting is already underway.
