Benedict Cumberbatch is attached to star in the thriller "Blood Mountain" says Screen.
The story follows a private military contractor and his
special forces team who have captured one of the world's most wanted
terrorists. When the rest of the team is ambushed and killed
during a covert raid, the contractor is forced to personally escort his
unwilling and dangerous captive across hostile terrain as insurgents and
rival mercenaries close in.
"Seventh Son" director Sergei Bodrov calls action using a script by Jonathan W. Stokes and John Romano.
Lawrence Bender, Nicola Horlick and James Gibb
are producing the movie.
Production begins in April in Morocco.
The film will
be shopped around at the European Film Market next month.
