Danny Glover, Thandie Newton and Oliver Platt have joined the end of the world flick "2012" says The Hollywood Reporter. Glover is in talks to play the President Of The U.S., while Newton is hovering to play his daughter. Platt is negotiating to play the president's chief of staff.
Roland Emmerich is directing with a July 10th 2009 release is planned-filming is set to begin this July.
