Horror film director Eli Roth is going to try his hand as actor in his pal Quentin Tarantino's WW2 action flick "Inglorious Bastards" says Variety.

Roth is in talks to play Sgt. Donnie Donowitz, a member of the group who takes to Nazi heads with his signature baseball bat.

Brad Pitt is in talks to join Roth as Aldo Raine, leader of a rogue band of Jewish-American soldiers who causes trouble for the bad guys in Nazi-occupied France.

Hey, could be worse---Tarantino could be playing Roth's role...SHUDDER!!

Production begins this Fall in Europe.
