According to The Los Angeles Times blogger Geoff Boucher-the announcement of who will play Bilbo will be made sometime during Comic-Con next week--possibly by helmer Guillermo del Toro himself.
Tennant is making his first appearance at the convention promoting the final episodes as "Doctor Who" which he finished earlier this year.
McAvoy's name has been rumored for the role for well over a year, while Radcliffe's taking on another big film series after Harry Potter ends seems unlikely though it is not unexpected to see his name on the list.
Casting Tennant seems the smartest choice--since he's not attached to any other pics and he'll be at the Con next week...
