BDH steps into the character played by Rachelle Lefevre in both Twilight) and The Twilight Saga: New Moon. Victoria is the vixen vampire who plots to destroy Kristen Stewart's heroine Bella Swan.
"We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise," said the studio's President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions Erik Feig
Adding:."Rachelle brought 'Victoria' to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role."
The reason for Lefevre's departure is said to be due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment.
Wow! Walking away from such a high profile series over a prior commitment seems a bit odd to me--then again--given the studio's release plans for the saga sequels....Howard is quite the get though for the producers
