Trying To Master The Difficult

Michael Finch and Alex Litvak.(Predators) will write a new film adaptation of Mattel 's classic animated /action figure franchise ""He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" says The Heat Vision Blog

As expected the film will revolve around the prince-turned-warrior He-Man and his battles against the evil Skeletor in the magical land of Eternia.

Finch and Litvak's version will try and "balance a treatment that would convince the studio it was cinematic and keep the toy company satisfied that its characters were being portrayed appropriately."

Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch are set to produce this latest attempt at a new H-Man Masters flick.

A "He-Man" film was set up in 2007 and went through several writers. At one point t John Stevenson ("Kung Fu Panda") was linked to direct, but Mattel took back the rights after they couldn't creatively agree with the suits on the film..
