Seyfried Up For Lovelace

Amanda Seyfried is now in talks to play adult film star Linda Lovelace for the indie biopic Lovelace says Variety.

Merritt Johnson is adapting Eric Danville's biography about Linda Boreman's rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of 1972's "Deep Throat," and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano

Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman are calling action

The film is told through the perspective of three interviewers at various stages of her life.

James Franco was being considered to play pornographer Chuck Traynor at one point The ever beauty Olivia Wilde (who would be my personal choice) and Kate Hudson were previously attached to star in the titular role

Laura Rister, Jim Young and Heidi Jo Markel will produce the film

The film is not to be confused with Matthew Wilder's Lovelace biopic "Inferno" which previously had Lindsay Lohan attached until she was replaced by Malin Akerman. The rival Biopics will start filming early next year
