Savages Trailer Offers Peek At Break-Neck Pace

Based on author Don Winslow's book the story follows two best friend pot growers (Aaron Johnson, Taylor Kitsch) in Laguna who share a trippy girl named Ophelia (Blake Lively). The duo are so good at their job that an enforcer (Benicio Del Toro) demands they work for his boss, a Mexican drug cartel matriarch Salma Hayek).

John Travolta Uma Thurman Demian Bichir and Emile Hirsch also star

Shane Salerno and Winslow wrote the script.

The pic hits theaters on July 6th and looks as if Stone has a winner here.
