Bateman Stays With "Leave You"

Jason Bateman is staying with "This Is Where I Leave You" says THR,--this after Shawn Levy ("Night at the Museum") replaced Adam Shankman as director on the pic last November.

Based on Jonathan Tropper's novel, the story centers on a father who dies and requests that his highly dysfunctional and non-religious family sit Shiva for seven days.

Tropper has written the adapted script.

At last report Goldie Hawn, was to play the family matriarch while Bateman, Zac Efron, and Leslie Mann were poised to be playing siblings. While Malin Akerman would play Bateman’s wife whose affair with his boss (Jason Sudeikis) goes public.

No word yet if the rest of the casting choices will be upended or not

Jennifer Gibgot, Paula Weinstein Shankman and Jeff Levine are producing the film.

Levy wants this to be the next movie he makes and plans to shoot it this summer
