Mulligan Passes On Hillary's Biopic

Carey Mulligan has passed on the offer to star in the indie biopic "Rodham"  which would explore Hillary Clinton's early years says THR.

I guess it's back to the drawing board...

South Korean screenwriter Young Il Kim Black List script is set during the height of the Watergate scandal.in the 1970s. At the time, Hillary Rodham was the youngest lawyer chosen for the House Judiciary Committee to Impeach President Richard M. Nixon. She soon finds herself forced to choose between a destined path to The White House, and her unresolved feelings for former boyfriend and Arkansas law teacher Bill Clinton.

"The Spectacular Now" and "Smashed" helmer James Ponsoldt calls action here.

Richard Arlook, Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen will produce the film.
