Carey Mulligan Leads Pack To Play Hillary Clinton In Biopix

THR reports that Carey Mulligan is the frontrunner to star in the indie biopic "Rodham"  which will explore Hillary Clinton's early years.

Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Chastain and Amanda Seyfried were part of a short list of potentials as well.

South Korean screenwriter Young Il Kim Black List script is set during the height of the Watergate scandal.in the 1970s. At the time, Hillary Rodham was the youngest lawyer chosen for the House Judiciary Committee to Impeach President Richard M. Nixon. She soon finds herself forced to choose between a destined path to The White House, and her unresolved feelings for former boyfriend and Arkansas law teacher Bill Clinton.
