Keanu Reeves Is Wanted To Star In "The Criminal"

Screen Daily reports that producer Markus Selin and director Antti J. Jokinen revealed over the weekend that they are speaking to Keanu Reeves about starring in the crime thriller "The Criminal"

 

The story is based on interviews conducted with Russian and Finnish felons over the past four years. 

The National Bureau of Investigation's Organized Crime Unit of the Finnish Police will serve as advisors on the script.

Production is set to take place next year in Helsinki, Dublin and St Petersburg. The film will be shot in Russian and Finnish, with English actors speaking in Russian.
