Aubrey Plaza Nabs "Ned Rifle" Role

Variety reports that Aubrey Plaza has scored the lead female role in the long-planned dark comedy "Ned Rifle".

Plaza will play Susan, the long lost flame of Henry Fool (Thomas Jay Ryan) in the third and final chapter of writer/director Hal Hartley's trilogy following 1997's "Henry Fool" and 2007's "Fay Grim".

Parker Posey, Liam Aiken and James Urbaniak will reprise their roles from the earlier films. Martin Donovan, Karen Sillas, Robert John Burke and William Sage also star.

Production begins next month in New York City ahead of a Fall release.
