Lucy Punch has joined the cast Earthbound says The Hollywood Reporter.In the pic Kate Hudson's a woman who learns she has been stricken with cancer before meeting a new guy (Gael García Bernal).
Punch plays the woman's best friend and advertising agency co-worker.
Nicole Kassell ("The Woodsman") directs from a screenplay by Gren Wells. John Davis, Mark Gill, Robert Katz and Adam Schroeder are producing the pic.
Punch is very in demand with small role in the upcoming Steve Carell/Paul Rudd comedy Dinner For Schmucks and Woody Allen's You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger.
Filming on Earth kicks off this month in Louisiana.
