Variety has now confirmed that "Friday The 13th" 2009 and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2003 director will now helm Conan, from a script by Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer.
Nipsel name had been on the short list to direct for a bit.
Filming begins later this year in Bulgaria and South Africa.
Nipsel replaces Brett Ratner making as fine a choice as anyone I guess...
