F.Gary Gray Takes On "Last Days"

Director F. Gary Gray will call action on a film adaptation of the comicThe Last Days of American Crime says THR.

From the mind of Rick Remender the futuristic tale occurs as America responds to a second major terrorism attack by developing technology that eliminates the impulse to commit crimes of any kind.

Sam Worthington is still attached to star as a leader of a heist team that plans to pull off a final job five days before the signal rubs out the criminal instinct.

The script has been drafted by Karl Gajdusek (the new movie Trespass),

Worthington will start work on The Last Days of American Crime as soon as Wrath of the Titans wraps

Gray's work on  The Italian Job, The Negotiator, A Man Apart and most recently Law Abiding Citizen will serve the film well when cameras roll in September
