Hossein Amini ("Drive) wrote the adapted screenplay which follows a young couple who are persuaded into helping a charismatic Russian criminal to defect. The story takes place across London, Paris, Moscow and Tangiers.
Lewis is set to play a member of Secret Intelligence Service or MI6.
Susanna White ("Generation Kill," "Parade's End") replaces the previously attached "Snowtown" director Justin Kurzel.
Ewan McGregor stars with Stellan Skarsgard, and Naomie Harris while folks like Jessica Chastain, Mads Mikkelsen and Ralph Fiennes were all linked as potential cast members,
Stephen Cornwell, Simon Cornwell, Rhodri Thomas, Gail Egan and Andrea Calderwood will produce.
Production began on location in a Finnish forest near the Arctic Circle. The film kicks off production in London this month
