Emily Watson & Dominic West Are Hitched For "Youth"

Emily Watson and Dominic West are in talks to join the  World War I-set romance "Testament of Youth" reports The Daily Mail.


 The film follows writer and feminist Vera Brittain (Alicia Vikander who takes over for actress Saoirse Ronan) and is based on her 1933 memoir The story follows a young woman who overcomes the prejudices of her family and hometown to win a scholarship to the  University of Oxford. Falling for her brother's friend (Kit Harington) who is sent off to war, she volunteers as a nurse and travels to France in order to help.

Watson and West will play the girl's parents.

Taron Egerton, Colin Morgan, and Alexandra Roach also star.

James Kent helms the project from an adapted script by Juliette Towhidi (Calendar Girls).

David Heyman (Gravity) is producing,

Production on "Youth" is slated to begin March 16th.
