Based on the novel by author John Niven, Nicholas Hoult plays an A&R man during the Britpop music wave of the late 1990s who goes to extremes fueled by greed, ambition and inhuman quantities of drugs, to find the next hit.
Jim Piddock plays the managing director of the record label.
Niven wrote the adapted the screenplay for director Owen Harris.
Gregor Cameron, Will Clarke and Len Blavatnik are producing the film.
