Stellan Skarsgard Poised To Corner A "Traitor"

Stellan Skarsgard is in talks to join the adaptation of author John le Carré's novel the thriller "Our Kind of Traitor" says Screen.

Hossein Amini ("Drive) wrote the adapted screenplay which follows a young couple who are persuaded into helping a charismatic Russian criminal to defect. The story takes place across London, Paris, Moscow and Tangiers.

Susanna White ("Generation Kill," "Parade's End") replaces the previously attached "Snowtown" director Justin Kurzel.

Ewan McGregor is still attached to star, while folks like Jessica Chastain, Mads Mikkelsen and Ralph Fiennes were all linked as potential cast members,

Stephen Cornwell, Simon Cornwell, Rhodri Thomas, Gail Egan and Andrea Calderwood will produce.
