Pearce Pens Holmes 3

Alough we are still weeks away from the the December 16th release of the sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows and yet--the studio has already hired  Drew Pearce to write a third film in the series says THR

The actions follow the same path that Warner Bros. took when they hired Michele Mulroney and Kieran Mulroney, the writers Shadows, in September 2009, three months before the first Sherlock Holmes saw the light of day. Pearce is also writing comic book pic The Mighty and is also teaming up again with Robert Downey Jr for Iron Man 3.

It is therefore speculated that you can probably expect a December 2014 release for the threequel
