Matt Damon will make his feature directorial debut on an as yet untitled drama he co-wrote with fellow actor John Krasinski says Variety.
Damon will direct himself playing a salesman who arrives in a small town only to have his whole life called into question. Krasinski will also have a role but that is not yet been disclosed.
Krasinski developed the story with author Dave Eggers
Chris Moore will produce.
The film is NOT "Father Daughter Time: A Tale of Armed Robbery and Eskimo Kisses" as speculated in June.
The duo will try to get a script finished within a next month. If it gets a green light, production would take place on the East Coast next year.
