The script written by Wanted duo Derek Haas and Michael Brandt, sees Urban and Barnes set to play "adventurous siblings who find more trouble than they are looking for in the South of France"
Alex Pettyfer, Matthew Goode and Garrett Hedlund were previously attached to the roles at various points during development.
Taken director Pierre Morel is producing with Haas and Brandt.
Filming starts on October 29 in Marseilles.
