Transformers 4 & 5: Hasbro Films Updates


Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner is talking to the studio, director Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg  to keep going with Transformers film series says The Hollywood Reporter.

Goldner says he he hopes to make an announcement early next year.

Hasbro is reportedly considering shooting fourth and fifth installments of "Transformers" back-to-back reports Variety. Franchise scriber Ehren Kruger is said to have an idea that the studio likes and has begun the search for writers

Jason Statham's name has been mentioned to replace departing lead Shia Labeouf

Despite the dumping of the Untitled Ouija Project", the company says their "Stretch Armstrong " and "Candy Land " adaptations are still being worked on. As for "Ouija", a script is being polished and could be back with a studio shortly.

Goldner adds that Micronauts the film is being worked on by producers  Jj Abrams Bryan Burk,  and Bennett Schneir.

Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese are set to write the adapted script says Deadline.
