Origiginal toon Phineas & Ferb was created by Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh and Dan Povenmire and they penned the initial draft. Unlike the show though, the film will mix live action and animation.
The show follows two stepbrothers who find inventive things to do on each day of their summer vacation such as building a roller coaster out of materials you would find in your house. Unbeknownst to them, their pet platypus, Perry, leads a double life as a secret agent
The TV movie Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension drew an impressive 7.6 million viewers in its debut this past summer making it the most-watched cable movie of the year.
