Elba plays Jamal, an ex-Guantanamo Bay detainee now working as a NYC taxi driver. Rapace will play Sarah, a prostitute on the run from a feared crime boss (Worthington). Jamal and Sarah soon find unexpected salvation in each other.
Matthias Schoenaerts was forced to vacate the Jamal role for personal reasons.
