Singer Pink aka Alecia Moore has won her first major film role as part of the ensemble cast of Stuart Blumberg's sex addiction dramedy "Thanks for Sharing" says EW.com.
The story centers on a support group for sex addicts, who try and beat their addictions and form meaningful relationships for the first time.
Pink will play Dede, a "kindred spirit" to Neil (Josh Gad)
Mark Ruffalo Tim Robbins Gwyneth Paltrow and Joely Richardson also star.
Blumberg makes his directorial debut on the film which he co-wrote with Matt Winston.
Blumberg said of Pink. "She carries with her just the right combination of heart and edginess for the part of Dede, and we're incredibly excited to share her acting talent with audiences."
William Migliore David Koplan Blumberg Leslie Urdang, Dean Vanech and Miranda de Pencier are producing the film that is currently in production
