Getting All Of Their Villains In A Row

The folks over at Cinema Blend say that not only will Heath Ledger be back as The Joker for the for certain third Bat film in the current film series, but another famous character from the comics will be tagging along, as well.

As previously established by the filmmakers, Two-Face will serve as the main villain in the third Bat film and the transformation of Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) into the coin flipping villain looks like it is to take place late in The Dark Knight.

Now comes unconfirmed word that unlike many a Bat-villain before him, The Joker will apparently survive TDK, and will pop up in the next flick (much like the chatter that Cillian Murphy who appeared in Batman Begins is making an appearance in TDK).

Are you with me so far...?

If that weren't enough to chew on, the site hints Catwoman will show up too...!

The script for the third film has yet to be written, though 'Knight' writer Jonathan Nolan is said to have a preliminary outline laid out.

If these "plans" see the light of day: I just hope the series doesn't go the way of the first 4 films from 1989-1997 and become villain top-heavy...That could spell trouble...

In a relatated item-Morgan Freeman talks a bit about his return playing Lucious Fox for TDK...
