"Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall"writer/director Jeff Wadlow has tweeted a new behind-the-scenes photo from the set that has raised some eyebrows.
The photo was also had a caption reading "Nobody puts Daddy in the corner" and showcases the suit Nicolas Cage wore in the first film. There has ben noise that Cage might be putting the suit back on for a flashback cameo. Does this photo confirm that chatter...?
The Kick-Ass sequel sees Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz and Christopher Mintz-Plasse return to reprise their roles.
Donald Faison is in talks to play Doctor Gravity a physics professor at Columbia who built a baseball bat-like pole which can make something twenty times its actual weight. In actuality though it is just a baseball bat covered in tin foil. John Leguizamo plays the bodyguard of Red Mist. Yancy Butler ("Witchblade," "Drop Zone") is set to return to reprise her role as the mother of Red Mist. Robert Emms is set to play 'Insect Man' and Morris Chestnut will play Marcus Williams In the comics, Insect Man is a cop who turned into a superhero during the night to "do the stuff he couldn't do in his day job." Marcus is the new stepfather of Hit-Girl. Jim Carrey is being pursued to play 'The Colonel' who helps motivate the team of misfit super heroes to assemble and fight evil. Lindy Booth ("Dawn of the Dead," "Wrong Turn") is going to play Night Bitch one of the new heroes who are part of the team called Justice Forever. They quickly get in over their heads when an organized crime group they're antagonizing want revenge.

I didn’t think it was possible to get more excited about this movie, until I saw that there was a possibility of “Big Daddy” returning. Though I realize that he likely won’t be resurrected from the dead, a co-worker at DISH thinks that he may appear in a flashback. He was my favorite part of the original movie, so even a flashback would be amazing. The wait just got so much harder, to try and cope I have rented the original from Blockbuster @Home. It really helps to refresh on the details and with my busy schedule, I love how easy it is to get the movie delivered through the mail. This movie just keeps getting better, with new villains, heroes and “Big Daddy,” it may end up better than the original.
Hey Sarah, Thanks for stopping by! The original KA is one of my favorite films in recent years. Rest assured I will post any major news about no. 2 ASAP!
