Pics Of The Litter

Photos from a pair of high profile flicks have found their way onto the net:

JoBlo posted 3 new photos from the set of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull...

For all of those stories over the years in the media and among the fans online, while the sequel languished in development, about Harrison Ford's age playing Indiana Jones in the new film...

I must say, all of those concerns seem pretty silly--Especially when you see those first 2 very iconic pics...I got goosebumps!

Ford looks great!

Here he is with co-star Shia LaBeouf in a cave most likely seeking "fortune and glory".

...Two new photos from the set of Watchmen:

That second shot looks like it lept right out of the book...

Visit Zack Snyder's “Backlot” the Watchmen production blog for more great production stuff ...

I can't help but feel giddy over seeing these 5 photographs...Says me wearing a big grin.

The pics are great! I was skeptical at first, but I can see Lucas & Speilberg shelled out enough in budget to "digitally erase" MOST of Ford's age lines - & his turkey gobbler neck.

All I'll say is: CGI isn't just for green ogres or wise cracking bees!

Dude, why the hostility?

No hostility - just some keen observation.

Besides, when/if this flick is a hit, Shia LaBeouf will be taking over as the new "Indy" and Harrison Ford will be the one reduced to a smaller/supporting role or even a cameo.

Good point - not only is Ford getting too old, but he's too expensive.

Like with Star Trek - don't pay Shatner or rest of the "old" cast - they cost too much. "Re-imagine" and bring in some cheap new blood!

Excellent points re: Ford/Indy - Star Trek.

No matter how bad Insurrection or even Nemesis was, with the right producer i.e. NOT RICK BERMAN - another TNG movie could have been totally kick ass. The TNG cast still had more than some life left in them. By giving Riker a ship and splitting them up, there may have been an interesting new dynamic, ala "Undiscovered Country" with Sulu now on Excelsior.

With Stewart increasingly in demand as a big movie star - ala X-Men - his salary was likely exorbitant and though I love him and in all deference to his skills, he's not a writer nor director - he couldn't bring to the table what Nimoy brought to the classic films.

You had a very expensive cast in the hands of a tired producer - instead of fixing one or dealing with that - a "cleaning of house" was ordered, so we'll see just how that decision bears out. I'm excited to see the result, but in ways the TNG cast was badly mishandled.
