The Strike Day 6

Here's the latest from the picket lines-including news about the fate of one of those TV series that act like movies...

Writers stage big rally

With the WGA strike in its fifth day, scribes and their leaders have remained strident - and unapologetic - with an energetic rally that drew an estimated 4,000 supporters in Century City.

Studios: What to shoot amid strike?

Bond, 'Angels & Demons', 'X Files Sequel' on the bubble

Wow! I thought any flick on track for a 2008 release was safe from delay--I guess that now only applies to films already in production....

Still things are much more dire on the TV side of the equation...

Networks go to backup plan

Strike triggers deployment of pilots

Networks threaten to lay off staff

ABC will air eight episodes of LOST

Given that the airing of new episodes of Lost has already been so haphazard over the last year--Any guarantee of any number is better than nothing....

Stay Tuned...
