The story centers on the relationship between a Central Intelligence Agency field officer (Rousey) and an Indonesian police officer (Uwais) forced to work together as they confront violent and extreme political corruption.
Graham Roland penned the script from which Peter Berg ("Lone Survivor") will direct and produce.
Production is set to begin by mid-May.
