Ash Not Part Of New ED Script

Bruce Campbell recently took to Twitter to reveal some new info about the upcoming remake of The Evil Dead.

His character of Ash is currently not a part of the script. Campbell confirmed the news before adding that "ED remake is a re-telling. All bets are off & all involved love the new approach."

Back in July Campbell hinted that he might make a cameo in the film, no word if that's still the case.

Award winning writer Diablo Cody revised the script written by director Fede Alvarez and with Rodolfo Sayagues The duo did Panic Attack! together

Campbell, Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert are producing.

Production starts early next year.
