Reedus And Hounsou Come Up For "Air"

"The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus will star in the sci-fi film "Air" says THR.

Set in an underground cryogenic facility after a nuclear fallout renders the atmosphere unbreathable, two custodians (Reedus, Djimon Hounsou) struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while maintaining the extremely fragile environment of the last livable place on earth.

Christian Cantamessa, the co-writer and lead designer on acclaimed video games "Red Dead Redemption" and "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," co-wrote the script with Chris Pasetto from which Cantamessa will also make his feature directorial debut om the low-budget film.

David Alpert, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Chris Ferguson and Walking Dead comic creator Robert Kirkman will produce the film.
