"Reno 911!" co-creator Robert Ben Garant penned the script which begins three decades ago when the members of the religious cult Heaven's Veil commit suicide.The sole survivor, a then five-year-old girl, is taken back to the compound thirty years later with a documentary crew to determine what really happened - the truth turns out to be far more terrifying.
Thomas Jane and Jessica Alba also star.
Phil Joanou will call action on the film.
Jason Blum will produce the film
Production begins in April.
