Smurfs 3 Is Going All CGI

Sony Pictures is fast-tracking the next as yet Untitled Smurfs Movie but this one is going to be completely animated says Variety.

The two previous films were live action/CG-animated hybrids, but the new one will be entirely computer animated.

The Smurfs 2 opened last year making $347.5 million compared to the $563.7 million made by the first film.

No word on a release date but if it's moving faster than we know a Summer 2015 bow may be possible.
