Kate Beckinsale, Others, Will Do "Absolutely Anything"

Kate Beckinsale Simon Pegg, Eddie Izzard, Joanna Lumley and Sanjeev Bhaskar have joined the comedy "Absolutely Anything" says Deadline.


In the film Pegg will play Neil, a school teacher granted supernatural powers by a group of aliens. The powers give him the ability to do anything he desires, as the aliens watch from afar. He turns to his trusty dog Dennis (voiced by Robin Williams) for help, but after a string of mishaps, Neil is forced to choose between his pooch and the woman he wants, Catherine (Beckinsale).

No details were given on Izzard, Lumley and Bhaskar's characters.

Most of the Monty Python alumni are involved in the film which is being directed by Terry Jones and features the vocal talents of Jones, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and John Cleese.

Jones co-wrote the film with Gavin Scott.

Ben Timlett and Bill Jones are producing the film.

Production begins in late March in the UK
