Despite claims to the contrary from the studio, that there are no official plans for a "Dark Knight" panel presentation, at Comic-Con; Superhero Hype is saying that one of their most reliable sources tells the site--that's not true.
The source says Warner Bros. plans on debuting a teaser in front of some screenings of Fox's "The Simpsons Movie" on July 27th, at the convention.
As a result, they say don't be too surprised if they decide to spring an unannounced premiere of the teaser for The Dark Knight sometime during the 10:30 AM panel.
Meanwhile, in a related item: Actor Aaron Eckhart has refused to offer details on his role as Harvey Dent/Two-Face in the sequel during publicity rounds for his new romantic comedy "No Reservations" (due July 27th).
I find it hard to believe that the studio would not have something ready from TDK for comic con. Filming has been underway for awhile now--and this would help create buzz by having footage ready to roll at an event like this. The report is probably true. Keeping film secrets is hard in the age of the internet.
As for Eckheart not spilling any secrets...He may not want to (or can't contractually) talk Two-Face but don't worry someone else probably will soon enough.
