First Things First

A quad of wide releases will greet those wishing to take in a movie this weekend...

Ice Cube and Tracy Morgan star in the comedy First Sunday(reviews); Uwe Boll is back with the fantasy In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (reviews) Then there's the animated Veggie Tales: The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything (reviews); And finally Rob Reiner brings together Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman for The Bucket List (reviews)-a flick that had a limited run at the end of last year...

Pamela McClintock and Dave McNary of Variety ask:

Will 'Juno' kick 'Bucket'?

'The Bucket List,' starring and Morgan Freeman, goes into 2,911 theaters and may have a shot at winning the frame.

"Juno," which expands from 1,925 runs to 2,448, moved up to No. 1 at the box office this week after coming in No. 2 last weekend. Pic grossed $55.7 million through Wednesday in one of the best showings ever for a specialty film...


Joshua Rich of EW says of The Bucket List:
