Zach Ain't Afraid Of No Ghosts

Zach Galifianakis is in talks to join the supernatural buddy action/comedy "R.I.P.D. says Variety

Ryan Reynolds stars as a young cop murdered in the line of duty who agrees to enlist in the 'Rest In Peace Department', a police force of ghosts, for the chance to catch his killer. The action follows a regular day in the life of him and his partner (Galifianakis), a gunslinger who himself has been dead since the 1800s.
 
Robert Schwentke ("Flightplan") will direct the film from a script by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi.

Neal Moritz will produce the film that takes it's cues from comic by Peter Lenkov

Galifianakis and Reynolds = comedy gold?

The film will begin shooting before the Summer.
